FACULTY & ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
For over two decades, I’ve taught & designed programs that bring together psychology, leadership, and business. I’ve served as Professor and Chair of the Management Department, teaching at the undergraduate (B.S.), graduate (M.S.), doctoral (DBA) levels in Organizational Psychology & Organizational Behavior. My courses span topics like Leadership, Coaching, Emotional Intelligence, Managing Teams, Ethics, Business Mgmt.
CONNECTING ACADEMIA & PRACTICE
At Golden Gate University, I led curriculum design for the undergraduate management program and the MBA Organizational Development track. My focus has always been on creating learning experiences that are both academically rigorous and professionally relevant. I’ve chaired dissertations, guided accreditation efforts, and mentored students who go on to lead with confidence and purpose.
TEACHING THAT MEETS STUDENTS WHERE THEY ARE
I’m passionate about designing courses that are engaging, inclusive, and accessible. Whether teaching online, hybrid, or in-person, I use tools like Canvas LMS and principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to create connection and belonging. My goal is to help each student link what they learn in class to who they are and who they’re becoming.
REAL-LIFE & CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
Beyond the university setting, I bring my background as an Organizational Psychologist, Leadership Coach, and Mgmt. Consultant in the academic space, teaching from both theory and lived consulting experience. My leadership in global firms such as Korn Ferry, PwC, and Deloitte enriches my teaching with a perspective on how individuals and organizations grow, adapt, and lead through change.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP/ACADEMIC CONTRIBUTIONS
I’ve been honored to speak at the Stanford Women’s Leadership Forum, collaborate with UCLA faculty, and contribute to publications with Harvard Business Review Press and Jossey-Bass. Sharing insights on leadership, change, and human behavior keeps my teaching fresh and connected to what matters most in today’s world.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
At the heart of my work is a simple idea: learning should create confidence, connection, and change. Whether I’m teaching a future leader, an executive in transition, or someone discovering their own strengths, I aim to make learning both practical and deeply personal.
