How I Help Students Finally Finish Their Research Without Burning Out.

I work with grad students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like they’ve been staring at the same chapter for way too long. Whether it’s a thesis or an entire dissertation, I help you move from spinning your wheels to making consistent progress — and yes, we start where you are, even if that’s deep in avoidance.


What I Offer as a Coach  

I don’t just help with writing or time management — I help you figure out what’s getting in the way, and we build systems that work for your brain.

That might include:

  • Breaking down your project into doable, low-pressure steps.
  • Building a rhythm that fits your energy levels (not some ideal version of you.)
  • Navigating ADHD or executive dysfunction, if that’s part of the picture. 
  • Creating accountability that feels supportive, not shame-based.
  • Rewriting the internal script that says, “I should be further along by now.”
     

What Working Together Looks Like

  • We meet regularly (usually weekly or biweekly) for a focused coaching session. 
  • You’ll have clear, flexible goals between sessions — no mystery about what to do next.
  • I help you create structure without rigidity (so you don’t get overwhelmed or frozen.)
  • You’ll get tools to manage avoidance, self-doubt, perfectionism, and burnout.
  • We celebrate the wins — even the small ones — because they matter.
